THE JAZZ IN M.E.E. Magazine partners with Smooth Entertainment to introduce the Lago Maggiore Jazz Festival in Italy!
The Smooth Entertainment festival family has grown again. In the new year, the altogether 13th edition of our SMOOTH JAZZ FESTIVAL series takes us to a new place in a new country – a country known for good food, good wine, fashion, summer, sun, sunshine – a country known for LA DOLCE VITA: Italy.
The 3rd in the league of their annual festivals is from now on going to take place there, more precisely at the picturesque Lake Maggiore. The second largest lake in Italy is located in the wine region of Piemonte and is just within a stone’s throw of Lake Como, where for example George Clooney owns a house. Venue for our festival is the Grand Hotel Dino in Baveno. The exclusive bathing and holiday resort Baveno, which is situated about 45 minutes north of the fashion metropolis Milan, is surrounded by picturesque mountains. It has retained the glamour of the 60s andthe charm of Art Nouveau. The hotel itself is nestled in a beautiful natural setting with century-old trees in the parks, pools, and the breathtaking panorama of the Borromean Islands. The spacious complex extends directly to the lake shore and has a private boat jetty.
On the Smooth Entertainment stage, they welcome some of the biggest and most successful international stars of the Contemporary and Smooth Jazz scene. Check out the lineup for 2015 and book your reservations today!

Nine-time GRAMMY nominee DAVE KOZ performs at the Wortham Center with trumpet extraordinaire RICK BRAUN and silky vocalist KENNY LATTIMORE August 29, 2015.
Over the decades, the saxophone has opened numerous doors for Koz. He has blended his talents with the likes of Ray Charles, Michael McDonald, Rod Stewart and a host of others earning him a spot among the elite in the genre of contemporary jazz. Rick Braun got his start playing with bands including Boney James & Jeff Golub’s Avenue Blue. A trumpet sensation, Braun continues to dazzle the smooth jazz masses. The package tops off with the penetrating vocals of Kenny Lattimore. Don’t miss this performance!
The Pieces of a Dream show at the Hobby Center in Houston was a HIT! They had not performed in Houston in a while but they packed the house and showed out.
